Hello everyone! I hope that you are having good weekends and 2011 so far...
Here is my photo contribution to the brilliant Splash of Colour Flickr group, organised by Silverpebble, which I think is a wonderful way to brighten up our days in the month of January...
Some buttons and bees....
Scrumptious candy coloured threads...
My lovely purple violas... planted in September and bloomed happily all through the winter! Amazing that they can survive such freezing temperatures and all that snow.
Behind them is my heather which I also love... it's so exciting the Spring is approaching I can't wait to see all the flowers and bright colours.
Yummy hot chocolate and spotty mug Christmas pressie...
Yesterday we visited the National Gallery in Trafalger Square... this was the view from the entrance... bit of a dreary day I know, but what a fab scene...
I managed to take a quick piccie of the amazing mosaic floor in the Gallery before I got told off for taking photos! Oops
Tonight we are making this recipe from Jamie Oliver's 30 Minute Meals book...
Looks lovely, fingers crossed we'll be able to muster up something similar to the piccies ;)
Enjoy the rest of your weekends everyone!
Sarah

ReplyDeleteHello :0) I've just found your blog through Jackies Valentines swap list, so many blogs I have not seen before. I'm following you now and will be back to read a bit more later, not seen that crochet mag before. Will try and get a copy this week. I've been learning to crochet since October ~ as a knitter I could never ever get my head round it, but I've now managed a small blanket and started a cushion.

ReplyDeleteHi, I am looking for the mug that you've shown there... the Christmas present. I have the same one but I just broke it and it's my favourite... Do you know where I can buy by any chance? I've looked on internet and the only one I've found is the picture on your blog! I know it's Thorntons but it's not on their website any more :(
